Big update! ✨ I won’t be traveling to many cons for now (life + rising costs), but I’ll be streaming on Twitch 🎨🎮, creating more fan art, and working on wearable merch soon! 💜 Full...
A New Chapter: Streaming, Fan Art & What’s Ahead
Hi everyone,
I’ve been meaning to write this for a while now—it’s my first official blog update, and I’m so excited to finally share everything that’s been going on behind the scenes, along with what’s coming next. This year has already thrown some very unexpected challenges my way, but it’s also given me the chance to rethink how I can connect with all of you in new and exciting ways.
As many of you know, comic conventions have always been a giant part of my journey as an artist. They’re where I’ve been able to meet so many of you face-to-face, share laughs and stories, sign my work, and just immerse myself in the wonderful creative community. Unfortunately, under some forced circumstances, I won’t be able to travel to most conventions for a while. The only exceptions will be local cons in my area (Dallas, Texas) or events where I can bring my kids along with me (they’re my tiny sidekicks, after all).
Another major reason I can’t travel as often anymore is the increased costs of traveling to conventions. Plane tickets, hotel stays, baggage fees, and even basic expenses like food have all skyrocketed. At this point, it feels like I’d need to sell a kidney just to afford a weekend at a big out-of-state show. As much as I love traveling to meet fans everywhere, it’s simply not financially sustainable right now.
While stepping back from the convention circuit wasn’t an easy decision, I see this as a new chapter—one that allows me to focus more on creating, experimenting, and sharing my art with you in different ways (and without TSA rummaging through my luggage full of prints).
Enter Streaming 🎮
So here’s the exciting part: I’m starting regular streams on my Twitch channel! Honestly, it feels like the perfect solution. Instead of me flying to you, I get to beam directly into your living room—no overpriced airport coffee required.
On stream, you’ll get to see me working on illustrations live, whether it’s fan art, original concepts, or behind-the-scenes peeks at the messy, magical process from sketch to finish. I’ll be hanging out in chat too, answering questions, taking ideas, and just having fun. Think of it like a virtual artist alley booth—except you don’t have to fight con crowds or wait in a 40-minute line for overpriced nachos.
I’ll even mix in some gaming sessions. Since a lot of my art is inspired by video games and anime, it makes sense to share the things I geek out over too. Plus, you might catch me yelling at a boss fight or two (because what’s Twitch without a little chaos?).
👉 If that sounds like your kind of vibe—art, chaos, caffeine-fueled rambling, and maybe some bad jokes—be sure to follow me on Twitch so you don’t miss the streams. It’ll be like hanging out at my artist table, but with comfier seating.
More Fan Art, More Worlds
The upside to traveling less is that I’ll have much more time to create—and that means more Art! I’m really excited to dive into new pieces inspired by the characters and worlds we all love.
For me, fan art isn’t just about drawing a character—it’s about capturing their energy, their quirks, their “vibe.” I want my pieces to feel like you’re stepping right into their world. Whether it’s your favorite Marvel or DC hero, an anime icon, or the latest breakout character from a video game, I’m going to keep bringing them to life in bold, colorful ways that (hopefully) make you say, “Yep, that’s going on my wall.”
On top of that, I’ll also be able to take on more commissions and dedicate more time to traditional art, which I’ve really missed pouring myself into. The best part? I’ll even be able to stream the commission process live on Twitch so you can see your piece come to life in real time. Since I’ll be depending more on commissions and online sales to support my family moving forward, every order, every commission, and every bit of support means the world to me—and I’m so grateful for this wonderful community that makes it possible.
I’m also opening up more space for commissions—both digital and traditional pieces! This is something I’ve been wanting to do more, and now I finally have the time to bring ideas to life.
If you want a custom piece created just for you (and maybe even see it come to life on stream), you can check out all the details and how to book a slot here:

Wearable Art is Coming 👕🎨
Another thing I’ve wanted to do for a long time is create wearable merch with my artwork. While prints are great, there are moments when you want to literally flaunt your fandom.
I’m working on designs for shirts, hoodies, hats, and more. The idea is to create art you can take with you—pieces that aren’t just clothing but conversation starters. I can’t wait to see you all repping the art out in the wild, whether it’s at school, work, or your next convention.
A Quick Apology & Update 💌
Now, I do owe you all a little honesty. Some of you have been waiting on orders, and I’m really sorry for the delays. One of my recent print shipments arrived damaged—like, beyond-saving damaged. So I’ve been waiting on a replacement so I can finally ship out the Malice Fun Size Prints. Trust me, I want you to have them as badly as you do!
On top of that, commissions have been running behind because I got hit with a stubborn upper respiratory infection this past month. It hung around like an uninvited guest who wouldn’t leave the party (I’m still a little sniffly even now). But the good news is I’m recovering, and I’m back in the studio catching up. Thank you for your patience—it means the world to me, and I promise every piece will get the time and love it deserves.
Next Convention Appearances 📅
Even though I won’t be traveling far, I’ll still be at a few local conventions this year! If you’re nearby, come by, say hi, and check out the art in person. Here’s where you can find me next:
-
Bedrock City Con – Houston | October 4–5, 2025
-
SpaceCon – San Antonio | October 24–26, 2025
-
Dallas Comic Show – Lewisville | November 22–23, 2025
So mark your calendars and bring your friends—I’ll have prints, sketches, and probably way too much caffeine in my system.
Stay Connected
Between Twitch streams, new fan art, wearable merch, catching up on orders, and upcoming cons, this next chapter is shaping up to be busy but so exciting. I’ll be using this blog and my socials to keep you posted on everything.
If you’ve met me at conventions before, I’d love to see you in Twitch chat—it’ll be like keeping the con vibes alive, minus the overpriced parking fees. And if you’re just discovering my art, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
Thank you all for your patience, kindness, and support. You’ve stuck with me through the ups and downs, and I can’t wait to keep growing and creating with you.
See you soon on Twitch! 💜
